The Data Collection Site (DCS) system is a reporting site that provides the ability for NIH to gather additional data and monitor grant expenditures for a range of special programs. Currently, grantees use the DCS system to submit Hurricane Sandy Special Program reports on a quarterly basis via a link in eRA Commons Once the data is compiled, NIH completes its Compliance Assessment Report, which is federally mandated reporting for special funding situations like disaster relief. The system's capabilities are flexible and will be modified as needed to fulfill future data gathering project requirements.
