IAR Virtual Meeting Discussion Dashboard

In order to access the Virtual Meeting Discussion Dashboard;

  • Select "List by Application". "List by Reviewer", or "VM List of Applications", from the "Go To:" menu. (Closedclick to view)
  • Showing the VM List of Applications in the Control Center drop-down menu

  • From the resulting hitlists you go to the Application Opportunity Number column, click on the Closedthree-dot ellipsis icon for the available actions. On the List of Applications screen, select View Discussion. On the Virtual List of All Applications screen, select Go to Discussion.

The Virtual Meeting Discussion Dashboard screens opens in separate tabs or windows (depending on browser settings). The tabs show the name of the PI (last, first) and the first part of the application number as space permits. Once on the VM Discussion Dashboard screen, you see the following sections: (Closedclick to view full screen):

  1. ClosedHeader - The top of the screen contains;
    • The cluster that the application is in (if clusters have been created)
    • The application number
    • The PI
    • The title of the application
    • Links to view critiques and scores
    • The date and time that the screen was last refreshed.
    • VM Meeting Discussion Dashboard header area.

  2. ClosedMeeting Information - This section has the following details;
    • Meeting Title
    • The name of the SRO
    • Meeting Identifier
    • Workgroup
    • Meeting Phase
    • Critiques Due date
    • Meeting Dates
    • Cluster Discussion Dates (conditional) - Shows the list of clusters and their beginning and ending dates and times. If no clusters have been created, this sub-section will not appear.
    • VM Meeting Dashboard Meeting Information area of screen.

  3. ClosedReviewers and Scores - This section contains;
    • The names of assigned reviewers as well as other reviewers who have either posted comments or discussion scores.
    • An indicator of the number of reviewers currently online. This will display a green circle [online indicator] and a count of the number of reviewers currently online vs the total number of reviewers. If the reviewer appears to be idle for 20 minutes, the indicator will disappear.
    • * Enter/Edit Discussion Score button if the meeting is in the Discussion Phase. New scores may be entered and existing scores may be changed throughout the meeting as the Reviewer's enthusiasm for the application changes based on discussion comments from other reviewers.
    • * Enter Final Score button if the meeting is in the Final Scoring Phase.

      NOTE: SROs will not see the Enter/Edit Discussion Score and Enter Final Score buttons and will not be able to enter scores.

    • The names of the reviewers.

      NOTE: The default sort for this list is by assignment role hierarchy first (REV 1, REV 2, etc.), then alphabetically by the last name of the unassigned reviewers. If the sort is changed by the user, the Default Sort button can be clicked to reset it.

    • The Preliminary, Discussion, and Final Scores submitted to date.
    • The total number of comments submitted by each reviewer.
    • the Reviewers and Scores section of the VM Meeting Discusion Dashbord page.

  4. ClosedLeft Navigation -
    • This area will list the topic categories set for the application and will always have a "Meeting-Wide Announcements" section.

    • It will scroll up and down as the user reviews comments and other screen content and is always in view.
    • An indicator at the top of the navigation window will alert the user to the total number of announcements and the number of unread messages which are indicated as "New".
    • Click on the title of a topic to see the announcements/messages related to that topic.
    • To collapse this tool click on the blue bar on the right with the left-pointing double carats. The tool will collapse to the left margin.

  5. ClosedDiscussion Thread -
    • This area will display the announcements/messages for the topic selected.
    • The Display Types are;
      • Conversational - messages are grouped together for a given conversation (i.e. replies)
      • Chronological - messages are listed in the order of the date and time posted without regard to the conversation that they pertain to.
    • Messages from the SRO/SRA will have a bullhorn icon [bullhorn icon] while messages from reviewers will have a head and shoulders icon [person icon]. If the designated chairperson posts a message, their icon will have "CHAIR" under the head and shoulders icon.
    • The messages can be sorted by newest first or oldest first.
    • Each message contains;
      • The name of the author.
      • Date and time of the message.
      • Date and time of any edits.
      • A Reply link - Replies to messages will be considered to be part of the same conversation.
      • An Edit link that the SRO may use if necessary.
      • An online indicator [online indicator] if the reviewer has been active in the last 20 minutes.

      IMPORTANT: Users will not be able to copy text or screen shots of the comments posted. The ability to copy and paste from another source into a comment is supported.
